About
Hi, I’m Sierra, founder of the Cowgirl Art Collective.
What began as my love for Western upholstery has grown into a broader effort to support cowgirl makers, artists, and the creative women who continue to carry Western tradition forward.
The Cowgirl Art Collective exists to showcase and support Western creatives through retreats, workshops, artist features, and curated opportunities. In addition to in-person experiences, we are expanding how artists connect, collaborate, and share their work through new online initiatives designed to support makers beyond a single event or space.
From immersive retreats and showcases to curated offerings and special projects, we highlight handmade Western work and create opportunities for makers to connect with people who value true craftsmanship.
Coming in Spring 2026, our newly expanded retail showroom will open in Virginia City, Nevada. The space will feature one-of-a-kind, cowgirl-made pieces and serve as a place where Western creativity, connection, and community can continue to grow, both in person and beyond the walls of the shop.

If anyone has the chance to take a class with Sierra please please take the opportunity you won't regret it. I had no idea what I was doing and I learned so much and I have this beautiful chair to pass on to one of my kids.

I was lucky enough to sit in on a workshop while visiting from AU, such an amazing experience. I learned loads and formed great friendships.
